Terms of Use

1. Agreement

DangClub (دەنگ کڵەب) is provided by Elnnd Selman, an individual developer trading as “DangClub” (“DangClub”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing on the login screen, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use DangClub.

2. Who can use DangClub

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian where local law requires it; that parent or guardian is then responsible for your use of DangClub.
• One account per phone number. The number must be yours and able to receive SMS.
• You must not use DangClub if we have suspended your account before, or if the law forbids it.

3. Your account

• You log in with a code we send by SMS. Never share this code with anyone, and keep your phone and number secure: whoever controls your number can log in to your account.
• Choose a name and username that do not mislead others. Names that imitate DangClub or its staff (such as “admin”, “support” or “dangclub”) are reserved. Do not pretend to be another person or organisation.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access, use “log out on all devices” in Settings and contact us.

4. The service

• DangClub is voice-only. In a channel only the owner and admins send voices and others listen; in a group every member can send voices.
• Channels and groups are public (any DangClub user can find and listen) or private (only through an invite link).
• You can like voices, “send to another group” (this creates a copy in the other group, sent by you), delete your own voice for everyone, or hide a voice for yourself.
• Group voices disappear after 24 hours. Every voice sent in a group is deleted automatically and permanently 24 hours after it is sent, together with its likes, listens and notifications, and it cannot be recovered. This also applies to copies made with “send to another group”. Voices in a channel stay until the sender or the channel owner deletes them, or the account is deleted.
• Voices have a maximum length shown in the app. DangClub is free and has no ads. We may add, change or remove features, and we try to tell you before important changes.

5. Content rules (acceptable use)

These rules apply to everything you say in a voice, and to names, usernames, photos, and the names and descriptions of channels and groups. They apply in private spaces too.

Not allowed

• Hate: attacking or inciting against people for their ethnicity, nationality, religion, sect, tribe, language, gender, disability or similar.
• Harassment and threats: bullying, insults aimed at a person, intimidation, blackmail, threats of violence, or encouraging self-harm.
• Private information: revealing other people's phone numbers, addresses, private photos or other personal data without permission.
• Sexual content, and any sexual content involving minors (we report it to the authorities).
• Violence and extremism: glorifying violence, terrorist or extremist propaganda.
• Illegal content or activity: for example selling drugs or weapons, fraud, scams, or other content that breaks the law.
• Spam: repeated or mass unwanted voices, advertising, chain messages, or adding many people to groups without their interest.
• Impersonation and misleading others about who you are.
• Recording others without consent: do not post recordings of other people's private conversations or phone calls without their permission.
• Others' rights: music, broadcasts or other audio you do not have the right to share.
• Harmful false information that can cause real harm, for example about health or emergencies.
• Abusing the service: bots or automated accounts, scraping, getting around limits or suspensions, multiple accounts to evade a ban, attacking or probing our systems, or trying to access other accounts.

Voice-specific rules

• If other people can be heard in your recording, make sure they agree to it being shared.
• Do not hide prohibited content in noise, speed changes or other audio tricks to avoid moderation.

DangClub is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services.

6. Channels, groups and private spaces

• Owners and admins of a channel or group can delete voices in it, remove members and stop them from rejoining, and change its settings. They must use these powers fairly and within these Terms.
• Private does not mean outside the rules. Anyone with the invite link can join a private space, so share links carefully; owners can renew the link at any time. Members can report content in private spaces and our moderators can review what is reported.
• Group members can add other people to groups. You can limit this in Settings (only people who share a group with you), and you can leave any group or block someone at any time.

7. Your content and the license you give us

You keep ownership of the voices and other content you create. To run DangClub, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process (for example to measure length and draw the waveform) and deliver your content to the people who can access the channel or group where you posted it, and to show it to moderators when needed. This license is only for operating, securing and improving DangClub, and it ends when the content is deleted (by you, or automatically after 24 hours for group voices) or when you delete your account, except for: copies other people forwarded as their own messages, the placeholders described in our Privacy Policy, and what we must keep by law.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you post. People who can hear your voices may forward them inside DangClub, and we cannot stop someone from recording audio outside the app.

8. Reports, moderation and suspension

• You can report a voice, a person, a channel or a group, with a reason (spam, harassment, hate, sexual content, violence, or other) and optional details. The reported person is not told who reported them.
• Our team reviews reports. We may remove a voice, close a channel or group, or suspend an account. A suspended account is logged out of all devices immediately and can no longer log in. All open reports about the same item are closed together with the decision.
• We may also act without a report when content clearly breaks these Terms or the law.
• You can always block someone: you will not see their voices and they cannot add you to groups.
• If you think we made a mistake, write to support@dangclub.com and we will review the decision.

9. Ending your use of DangClub

• You can stop using DangClub and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect users or DangClub. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
• Sections 7 (for content that remains), 10 to 13 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. DangClub's rights

The DangClub name, logo, app, design and cartoon characters belong to Elnnd Selman or his licensors. You may not copy, modify or redistribute them, or try to extract the app's source code, except where the law allows it.

11. Disclaimers

We work to keep DangClub available and safe, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will always work without interruption or errors, or that content will never be lost. Content posted by users is their responsibility, not ours. Your mobile operator may charge for data or SMS.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, DangClub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or profits, or for content and behaviour of other users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and because DangClub is provided free of charge, our total liability for all claims relating to DangClub is limited to USD 100 or the amount you paid us for DangClub in the 12 months before the claim arose, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, as applied in the Kurdistan Region. The competent courts of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of DangClub. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem together. If you live outside Iraq, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. For important changes we will tell you inside the app before they apply; if you continue to use DangClub after that, you accept the new Terms.
